Would you have with a sentient extra terrestrial if it was not human-like but was still attractive?

Imagine there were some really nice looking non-human creature you had feelings for. Would you have with an extra terrestrial that as not a human-like creature, but was still pretty attractive. ume you can't catch any diseases, get hurt, or create some hybrid creature. For example, some type of intelligent reptile like creature, or bird race, or something that there is no ogous type of creature on earth? I didn't want to make this some hypothetical human-like creature since that would make things too obvious.
