Is there a way to sync music to an itouch without using itunes?

is there a program that will let me sync music to my itouch without having to download iunts. my internet is out right now so i'm having to use a dialup connection. i don't want to wait 10 hours to download it. please help. i tried a program that sombody seguested call media monkey. but the program was a piece of crap. it didn't work one bit. i would appreciate some help
