I like to send articles to friends but there isn't always a "email to" box posted. How to send one without it

Sometimes (like the NYT) the magazine or newspaper or whatever will have a "send to" and "from" area listed up at the top of the article but many don't have this convenience posted. I try to just send the whole page as a "link" but it usually doesn't work. Anyway to send these articles that don't have a designated area for sending? Thanks very much.
