Help! I NEED My DS back?

My DS was stolen at school. It's not the DS I'm worried about, it's all the progress that the game that was in it! Is there a way to track it through serial number? Or maybe I could see where it connected to Wi-Fi last? I just need to know if I can still find the serial number (because I don't have it), and if I can use it to get my DS back. Should I call Nintendo? Nah, tey probably can't help.
